He is deputy director of the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities. Currently a resident of Covington, Louisiana, Mr. Kemp is also the author of several books, including Alan Flattmannís French Quarter Impressions , published by Pelican.
Julia Sims, a renowned wildlife photographer, first collaborated with John Kemp on their book Manchac Swamp:Louisianaís Undiscovered Wilderness .
