Writer and artist, Peggy A. Borel resides in Westlake, Louisiana. She can be found most days at her desk writing and illustrating the lives of fictional characters within her imagination, bringing them to life for others. 
Peggy is a graduate of Thomas College, Waterville, Maine, and she has studied Liberal Arts at Joliet Junior College, Joliet, Illinois. She has taken various writing and art classes offered by McNeese State University, Lake Charles, Louisiana. Peggy is a member of SCBWI, SLSCBWI, and Bayou Writers’ Group. Each year she attends Jambalaya Writers’ Conference, Houma, Louisiana, A Bridge to Publication Conference, Lake Charles, Louisiana, and SLCBWI Writers’ Conference in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
