Southwest Louisiana is so richly populated with people from all over the world. We have so much to learn from each other, and what an adventure in diversity appreciation it is to know each other's family stories and to share those recipes that repeat themselves at important family gatherings. It is to this hope and purpose that Samaritan Counseling Center dedicates this anthology of stories and favorite recipes of families of Southwest Louisiana.
